Khus attar, also known as vetiver attar or vetiver essential oil, is a highly aromatic and luxurious fragrance derived from the roots of the vetiver grass (Chrysopogon zizanioides). The word "khus" is derived from the Hindi language and refers to the plant itself, as well as the fragrance it produces.
